James Rose

James Rose is a Lecturer at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville's College of Architecture + Design. He has been a faculty member since 2004, contributing to sustainability, design/build education, and the architectural implications of emerging technologies.

His research focuses on the intersection of material and process innovation, with notable projects including the world’s first net-zero 3D printed polymer building in collaboration with Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) and SOM.
