Dr. Scott Tenenbaum is a Professor at the University at Albany's College of Nanotechnology, Science, and Engineering, with joint appointments in the Department of Nanoscale Science & Engineering and The RNA Institute. His research focuses on RNA biology and nanotechnology, particularly post-transcriptional gene regulation and development of RNA-based therapeutics. He holds a PhD in Microbiology and Immunology from Tulane University and completed postdoctoral training at Duke University Medical Center.
