Scott Rockart is the Eads Associate Professor of the Practice in Energy Finance and Faculty Fellow in the Energy Initiative at Duke University's Fuqua School of Business. He holds a PhD in behavioral and policy sciences and management science from MIT (2001) and an MBA from MIT (1996). Prior roles include assistant professorships at London Business School (2000–2002), Duke Fuqua (2002–2010), and UNC Chapel Hill (2010–2016).
His research focuses on policies for repeated decision-making in areas like pricing, investment, and industry dynamics. Key themes include interdependency effects, system dynamics modeling, and strategic adaptation. He serves on editorial boards for Strategic Management Journal, Strategy Science, and System Dynamics Review.
