Scott Reinardy is the Associate Dean for Student Success and the Malcolm Applegate Professor in News Management and Editing at the William Allen White School of Journalism & Mass Communications, University of Kansas. He holds a Ph.D. in Journalism from the University of Missouri (2006), following a career in daily newspaper journalism. His research focuses on newsroom adaptation to digital disruption, media ethics, journalism education, and sports media. He has authored influential books like Journalism’s Lost Generation: The Un-doing of U.S. Newspaper Newsrooms (2016) and The Essentials of Sports Reporting and Writing (2015).
