Scott Baraban is a Professor in the Department of Neurological Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), affiliated with the UCSF Weill Institute for Neurosciences. His research focuses on epilepsy, neurodevelopmental disorders, and translational therapies using zebrafish models and interneuron transplantation.
