Scott A. King is a Professor of Computer Science at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, affiliated with the Computing Sciences Department. He directs the iCORE and Pixel Island labs, focusing on research areas such as Visualization, Computer Graphics, Machine Learning, AI Robotics, Ambient Intelligence, and Human-Computer Interaction (HCI). Additionally, he serves as a co-lead for the CAHSI Southwest Region and is a member of the AI2ES initiative.

His research spans interdisciplinary applications in computer graphics, data analytics, and autonomous systems, with a strong emphasis on mentoring students at all academic levels.
