Dr Savvas Germanis is a Research Associate at the School of Mathematical and Physical Sciences, University of Sheffield, affiliated with the Inorganic Semiconductors Research Cluster. His research focuses on quantum dots, piezoelectric semiconductor nanostructures, and optoelectronic devices, emphasizing single photon sources, spin dynamics, and nanoscale material characterization.
