Dr. Saumitra Yadav is a Post Doctoral Research Assistant at Purdue University's College of Engineering, Department of Biomedical Engineering. His research spans interdisciplinary domains at the intersection of neuroscience and biomedical engineering.
Research interests include:
- Neural dynamics and translaminar cortical coding
- Dendritic computation and synaptic plasticity
- Development of advanced two-photon microscopy techniques
- Silicon photonics for biomedical applications
Publishing in both neuroscience and photonic engineering domains, Dr. Yadav has contributed to understanding neural circuitry mechanisms and optimizing photodetector designs. His work combines computational neuroscience with experimental biophotonics methodologies.
