Saulius S. Lipčius is an Associate Professor at the Department of Chamber Ensemble of the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre (LMTA), where he has taught since graduating in 2008. A fourth-generation musician, he specializes in classical guitar and the rare liuto forte, actively performing in ensembles and solo projects since the 1990s.

His research and performance focus spans classical guitar pedagogy, early music revival, and cross-disciplinary concert projects. With three Baltic Guitar Quartet CDs and a 2011 solo album Guitar Temptations, he has performed in over 25 countries at venues like Berlin Philharmonic and Forbidden City Concert Hall. A frequent competition juror, his students have achieved national and international competition success.
