Sasha N. Flowers is a fourth-year Clinical Psychology Ph.D. student at George Mason University. She holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin (2018) and an M.A. in Psychology from George Mason University (2023). Her research focuses on equity-informed implementation science, culturally responsive evidence-based practices, and addressing power dynamics within therapeutic relationships. She is affiliated with the ACCESS Lab under Dr. Amanda Sanchez.

- Teaching: Instructor of Record for PSYC211: Lifespan Development; lab instructor for PSYC301 and PSYC300.
Her research interests include decolonizing methodologies, participatory action research, and clinician cultural humility. She has been awarded the MARIE Fellowship (2022–2023) and participates in the NSF-funded Adaptive Systems of Brain-Body Interactions NRT program (2023–2024).
Key research themes include culturally adapted interventions for marginalized youth, power imbalances in therapy, and equity-centered delivery of evidence-based treatments. Recent presentations include work at the Anxiety and Depression Association of America (ADAA) and the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies (ABCT).
