Sarra Tlili is an Associate Professor specializing in Arabic Language, Literature, and Culture at the University of Florida. Her research bridges Islamic studies, literary analysis, and environmental humanities.
- Ph.D. in Arabic and Islamic Studies from the University of Pennsylvania
- M.A. in Arabic and Islamic Studies from the University of Pennsylvania
Dr. Tlili focuses on the stylistics of the Qur’an, human-animal relationships in Islamic thought, and Arabic literature. She has taught courses such as The Qur’an as Literature, Arab Woman, and Arabic-English Translation. Office hours are held in 354 Pugh Hall during Spring 2022.
