Saritha Ranabothu

Saritha Ranabothu, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics — Division of Nephrology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). She practices primarily at Arkansas Children’s Northwest and Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock. Her clinical focus is on pediatric nephrology, specializing in kidney transplantation, sickle cell disease, and hypertension management. Dr. Ranabothu is actively involved in research addressing hypercoagulability in transplant recipients, EBV-related post-transplant complications, and lupus nephritis pathogenesis. She is a member of the Improving Renal Outcomes Collaborative (IROC), contributing to studies on reducing rejection and optimizing outcomes in pediatric kidney transplants.

Her research also explores nocturnal hypertension in sickle cell disease and the impact of industry payments on nephrology practice patterns.
