Sarah Wang is a Lecturer in the Department of Supply Chain & Analytics at the University of Wollongong (UoW), Australia, serving since January 2024. Previously, she held a Casual Academic role at UoW from February 2013 to December 2023. She concurrently acts as Program Coordinator for UOW CABLE since February 2016.
Her research focuses on finance, particularly analyzing regulatory policies and their impacts on financial markets. Notable work includes examining China’s market-wide circuit breakers and herding behavior in financial contexts. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Wollongong.
Recent publications explore unintended consequences of market interventions and policy evaluations in emerging markets. Her teaching and supervision include guiding a doctoral project on the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic on Sustainable Development Goals disclosures in Australian and Chinese firms.
