Sarah Sweeney

Sarah Sweeney is Associate Professor and Chair of the Art Department at Skidmore College. She holds a BFA from Williams College and an MFA in Digital Media from Columbia University. Her work explores the intersection of photographic memory objects, physical memories, and documentary technologies through digital and interactive media.

Research focuses on:

• Interrogating relationships between memory science and visual documentation
• Developing digital interventions that visualize psychological phenomena
• Examining how technology mediates human recollection and forgetting
