Sarah Schwartz is a Lecturer at Melbourne Law School, specializing in police accountability, prison systems, and Aboriginal deaths in custody. She holds a BA, LLB, and LLM, and completed a Master of Laws at Harvard Law School (2020).
As manager of the Wirraway Practice at the Victorian Aboriginal Legal Service, she represents clients in coronial inquests and police accountability cases, including the landmark Inquest into the Passing of Veronica Marie Nelson. Her scholarship examines systemic reform in criminal justice systems.
