Recent publications (2022-2024) reveal a concentrated focus on leadership during the COVID-19 pandemic, particularly examining international student experiences and women's leadership through feminist frameworks. Using duoethnography and narrative inquiry, she explores identity formation in borderland spaces and value conflicts in crisis decision-making, contributing practical insights for creating inclusive global academic environments.
In her dual role as faculty and Assistant Director, Dr. Schiffecker supports international graduate students within the College of Media & Communication, though specific advising details and grant funding remain unspecified in available records.
