Dr. Sarah Rosenberg-Jansen is a Research Fellow at the University of Oxford's Refugee Studies Centre and a member of Linacre College. She leads the UN Global Platform for Action (GPA) on sustainable energy in displacement contexts, focusing on energy systems in humanitarian settings. Previously, she held roles at Imperial College London, University of Cambridge, Practical Action (NGO), and UK’s DFID/FCDO. Her work examines energy access impacts on refugees and humanitarian energy ethics. Funded by the Independent Social Research Foundation (ISRF), her research uses ethnographic evidence to explore refugee energy needs and institutional practices.
