Sarah Richling

Sarah Richling serves as an Associate Clinical Professor and Director of the ABA Program at Auburn University's Department of Psychological Sciences within the College of Liberal Arts. She also coordinates ABA practicum services and holds leadership roles at professional organizations such as the Behavior Analysis Certification Board and Association for Behavior Analysis International.

Her education includes a PhD from the University of Nevada-Reno, MS from St. Cloud State University, and BA from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. She has extensive clinical experience, including roles as director at the P.A.T.H. Clinic in Reno and clinical supervisor at King Faisal Specialist Hospital in Saudi Arabia.

Her research focuses on evidence-based practice dissemination, evaluation of clinical rituals, organizational system-building, and behavioral science philosophy integration. She addresses societal issues like criminal behavior, advocacy, and activism. Recent work includes studies on juvenile justice interventions, foster care preference assessments, and telehealth applications in behavioral self-management.

Richling actively contributes to professional development through editorial roles (Behavior and Social Issues, Conductual) and conference organization (ABAI, BFSR). She teaches courses including Applied Behavior Analysis, Behaviorism, and practicum supervision.
