Sarah Montesa

Sarah Montesa is a faculty member at National University of Health Sciences (NUHS) since January 2023, serving as an AHM Clinician at the NUHS Whole Health Center and a presenter for the FISH program. She teaches in the acupuncture and herbal medicine program, focusing on pain management, palliative care, and mental health. Dr. Montesa holds a Doctor of Chiropractic, Master of Science in Oriental Medicine, and a Doctor of Acupuncture from NUHS, alongside a Master of Science in Human Anatomy and Physiology and CHPCAS certification.

Her clinical experience includes private practice, hospital settings, and home healthcare during the pandemic, specializing in cancer and autoimmune patients. She emphasizes patient-centered care, particularly in end-of-life care, believing in acupuncture's role in easing transitions. Teaching highlights include mentoring students in anatomy and witnessing their academic growth.
