Sarah Minette is an Adjunct Faculty in Music Education at the University of St. Thomas and a music educator at Minneapolis South High School in Minneapolis. With 18 years of experience, she teaches middle school band, jazz band, marching band, and secondary general music.
Her educational background includes:
- PhD from Arizona State University
- MAME from University of St. Thomas
- BME from University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire
Sarah's research focuses on critical issues in music education, particularly LGBTQ and gender/sexuality topics, social justice, and access and equity. She explores how these themes intersect with instrumental and secondary general music education to create inclusive learning environments.
