Sarah Mills

Dr. Sarah Mills is a Lecturer in Academic General Practice at the University of St Andrews School of Medicine. Her research employs health data science to study out-of-hours care, multimorbidity, and primary palliative care.

Dr. Mills holds a PhD from the University of Dundee and medical degrees from the University of Cambridge and St Andrews. She collaborates with NHS Fife as a GP Partner and co-chairs the British Medical Association's Women in Academic Medicine initiative.

Her research analyzes unscheduled care patterns, multimorbidity management, and late-stage cancer diagnosis barriers. She leads studies on point-of-care testing and palliative prescription trends.

Dr. Mills supervises PhD students in multimorbidity and healthcare delivery. She focuses on integrating data-driven approaches into clinical practice.
