Phillip Jonathan Walmsley

Phillip Jonathan Walmsley is a Clinical Teaching Fellow and Vertical Theme Lead in Clinical Focused Informatics at the School of Medicine, University of St Andrews. He is also a Consultant in Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgery at NHS Fife and serves as an Associate Post-Graduate Dean (Quality) with NHS Education for Scotland (NES). He holds an MD from the University of St Andrews (2016), focusing on total knee replacement outcomes. His research spans optimizing knee arthroplasty outcomes, medical education innovation, and healthcare informatics. He has received awards including the ABC Travelling Fellowship (2018) and Fellowship of the Faculty of Surgical Trainers (2016).
