Sarah McCadden serves as an Assistant Professor in the Occupational Therapy Program at Mary Baldwin University, bringing extensive clinical expertise in adult and geriatric rehabilitation across acute care, outpatient, home health, inpatient rehabilitation, and skilled nursing facilities.
Her educational credentials include:
- Master’s of Science in Occupational Therapy from Shenandoah University
- Post-professional Doctorate of Occupational Therapy from Radford University Carilion with an educational focus
Dr. McCadden specializes in neurological rehabilitation for stroke, brain injury, and spinal cord injury populations while maintaining a strong commitment to clinical education. Her work emphasizes translating clinical experience into student training through coordination of Level I and II fieldwork assignments, preparing future occupational therapists for diverse practice settings.
