Dr. Sarah Kuzmiak-Glancy is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Kinesiology at the University of Maryland's School of Public Health. Her research focuses on mitochondrial energetics in skeletal and cardiac muscles, particularly how energy production is matched to demand during exercise and disease. She holds a BS in Exercise Science (Rutgers, 2008), PhD in Biology (Arizona State, 2012), and postdoctoral training in Biomedical Engineering (George Washington University, 2012–2016) and Cardiology (National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute, NIH, 2016).
