Sarah Haywood-Small

Dr Sarah Haywood-Small is an Associate Professor and Associate Head of the School of Biosciences and Chemistry at Sheffield Hallam University. With over 15 years of experience, she has driven strategic initiatives enhancing student engagement and academic excellence. Her research focuses on cancer pathogenesis, particularly mesothelioma diagnosis and treatment using breathomics and multiplex analytical techniques, alongside improving fibromyalgia management through patient-centered approaches. She holds a BSc and PhD in biological sciences and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA).
