Dr Sarah Gerson is a Reader in Psychology at Cardiff University, specializing in developmental psychology and cognitive neuroscience. She leads research on infants' and children's social-cognitive development, particularly how they understand others' actions through motor experience and comparison processes. Her work employs EEG, fNIRS, and behavioral measures. Gerson holds editorial roles in journals like Infancy and Scientific Reports, and has received awards including the Welsh Crucible (2017) and the University of Maryland Distinguished Dissertation Award (2012).
