Dr Hayley Reed is a Research Fellow and Lead for Science Integration & Public Participation at DECIPHer, Cardiff University’s School of Social Sciences. Her work focuses on mental health and wellbeing interventions for children and young people, emphasizing co-production methodologies in schools and families. She leads a Health and Care Research Wales Fellowship adapting global mental health programs for Wales and contributed to the winning Wellcome Trust Mental Health Data Prize team, developing a school health dashboard.
Education: PhD (2021) in Social Sciences (Cardiff University), MSc Social Science Research Methods (2017), MA Childhood Studies (2012), BSc Psychology (2007). Her research integrates participatory methods and qualitative approaches, with expertise in systematic reviews and intervention adaptation.
