Sarah Fulham-Mcquillan

Dr. Sarah Fulham-McQuillan is Assistant Professor at UCD Sutherland School of Law, teaching Tort Law, Medical Law, and Constitutional Rights. Her research redefines medical negligence through interdisciplinary lenses, notably in the forthcoming monograph Redefining the Medical Negligence Action: A Doctor's Duty to Take Care (Hart Publishing, 2025).

Key interests: patient autonomy, constitutional rights interplay with private law, and safeguarding vulnerable adults. Awarded multiple teaching excellence prizes including UCD University-level (2021) and College-level (2020) honors.

Serves as Deputy Director of UCD Centre for Constitutional Studies and elected trustee for the Society of Legal Scholars.
