Sarah Fitz-Koch is an Assistant Professor at the Centre for Family Entrepreneurship and Ownership (CeFEO) at Jönköping University. Her research focuses on identity dynamics in family businesses, portfolio entrepreneurship, and innovation strategies within agricultural and rural contexts. She currently holds a leave of absence from active teaching duties.
Her work bridges organizational behavior and entrepreneurship, examining how founders navigate identity transitions during business succession and diversification. Key themes include the interplay between socioemotional wealth preservation and innovation capabilities in family firms, as well as the role of entrepreneurial portfolios in rural economic development.
