Dr. Sarah Dineen-Griffin is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Newcastle's School of Biomedical Sciences and Pharmacy, part of the College of Health, Medicine and Wellbeing. She holds adjunct and honorary roles at institutions like Charles Sturt University and the University of Nottingham. Her research focuses on expanding the scope of community pharmacy practice, including pharmacist prescribing rights for UTIs, contraceptives, and minor ailments. She leads high-impact grants totaling $8M from the NSW Government and industry partnerships. Notably, she co-designed clinical protocols now embedded in NSW Health legislation, transforming pharmacy practice.
