Sarah Davies is a Lecturer at the University of Cumbria's Department of Radiography since 2020, transitioning from a part-time clinical academic role. Previously, she worked as a diagnostic radiographer and clinical tutor in her local hospital, mentoring radiography students. Her research focuses on human interaction with AI in medical image interpretation, aiming to complete data collection/analysis by December 2024.

Her teaching style blends formal and informal methods, valuing close student-staff relationships. The Radiography programme at Cumbria is noted for its close-knit classes and personalized support, contrasting with larger institutions.
A passionate educator, Davies highlights the diversity of students as her favorite aspect of teaching. Outside academia, she completed Ironman UK in 2012, finishing 5th in her age group.
