Sarah Davies

Professor Sarah Davies holds a professorship in the Department of Geography and Earth Sciences at Aberystwyth University, where she also serves as Head of the Geography Division. Her research focuses on reconstructing climatic and environmental change using lake sediment records, with emphasis on interactions between human societies, climate, and ecosystems in tropical regions (Mexico, Ethiopia) and the UK/Wales. She has expertise in paleoclimatology, sedimentology, and interdisciplinary heritage preservation projects like CHERISH.
