Sarah Chamberlain Mitchell

Dr. Sarah Chamberlain Mitchell is Senior Lecturer in Physiotherapy at Manchester Metropolitan University. A qualified physiotherapist registered with HCPC, CSP, BTS, ERS and ACPRC, her research focuses on respiratory medicine including chronic cough, COPD and interstitial lung disease. She holds an honorary contract with Manchester Foundation Trust and collaborates internationally on chronic cough research.

Currently co-leading MSc Perioperative Medicine programs, Dr. Mitchell teaches across undergraduate and postgraduate physiotherapy curricula. She supervises PhD candidates investigating app-based pulmonary rehabilitation for COPD patients.
