Sarah Brosnan is an Associate Professor at Georgia State University in the Departments of Psychology, Philosophy, and the Neuroscience Institute. She is also affiliated with the Brains & Behavior program and the Center for Behavioral Neuroscience, directing the Comparative Economics and Behavioral Studies Laboratory (CEBUS Lab).
Her research focuses on economic decision-making in primates, social cognition, and the evolutionary mechanisms underlying cooperation and inequity responses. She utilizes experimental economics methodologies to study humans, nonhuman primates, children, and other species like fish, with comparative analyses of socio-ecological factors.
Dr. Brosnan holds a Ph.D. from Emory University (2004) and conducts research at the Language Research Center of Georgia State University and the Michale E. Keeling Center for Comparative Medicine and Research.
