Sarah Borchers

Sarah Borchers is an Associate Professor in the Department of Accounting, Finance, and Economics at the University of Nebraska at Kearney (UNK), within the College of Business and Technology. She brings extensive professional experience as a former audit manager at a CPA firm in Kearney, Nebraska, specializing in government and nonprofit audits, directly into her teaching and curriculum development.

Her educational background includes a D.B.A. in Accounting from Creighton University, an MBA in Accounting, and a B.S. in Accounting, all from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. This strong academic foundation complements her practical expertise in the accounting profession.
