Dr. Sarah Bolander serves as Adjunct Professor in the Doctor of Medical Science Program within University of Lynchburg's School of Medicine and Health Sciences, while holding full faculty position in Northern Arizona University's Physician Assistant Program. With over a decade of PA education experience since 2014, she maintains active clinical practice in pediatric orthopaedics that directly informs her academic work.
Her research focuses on:
- Advanced PA education models, particularly DMSc program development
- Evidence-based orthopaedic care for pediatric populations
- Curriculum design for teaching clinical reasoning
- Professional identity formation in PA students
