Sarah Bodman

Sarah Bodman is an Associate Professor at the Centre for Print Research (CFPR) and Programme Leader for MA Printmaking at the Faculty of Arts, Creative Industries, and Education (ACE), University of the West of England. She specializes in artists' books and printmaking, with a focus on curatorial practices, creative writing, and public engagement.

Her research explores contemporary book arts, including collaborations with artists, writers, and curators on exhibitions, publications, and international projects like the Scandinavian Artists' Books Partnership Project and the Japan-focused BABE 2026 edition. She edits the Artist's Book Yearbook, Book Arts Newsletter, and The Blue Notebook journal.

Recent projects include organizing the LAND2 & Book Arts Printmaking symposium and co-curating the Women Artists' Print Portfolio exhibition. She supervises 6 doctoral students and contributes to journals such as Printmaking Today and Art In Print.
