Sarah Berth, M.D., Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor in Neurology at Baylor College of Medicine, where she also serves as Director of the ALS Clinical Trials Unit. She holds an adjunct position as Adjunct Assistant Professor in Neurology at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Her academic journey includes an MD-PhD from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a BA in Neuroscience from Northwestern University.
Dr. Berth specializes in neuromuscular medicine, focusing on motor neuron diseases like ALS, muscle disorders, myasthenia gravis, and CIDP. Her research explores axonal transport mechanisms, viral neuroinvasion pathways, and therapeutic targets for neurodegenerative conditions.
