Dr. Sarah Bateman is a Researcher in the School of Applied Sciences at the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol). As Director of Learning and Teaching, she oversees curriculum development, academic standards, and professional accreditation for degree programs in Forensic Science and related disciplines.

She holds a PhD in Isotope Geochemistry (University of Bristol, 2004) and a PG Cert in Higher Education Teaching and Learning (UWE, 2008). Her collaborations include Bristol Zoo, University Centre Weston, and NHSBT.
