Sara Williamsson is a Researcher at the Department of Archaeology and Ancient History, Lund University. Her work focuses on historical archaeology with an emphasis on landscape settlement patterns and citizen science applications.
Research interests include:
- Location strategies of crofts (1650–1940) in Brönnestad parish, Scania
- Relationship between croft architecture and landscape elements
- Development of citizen science methods for subaltern groups
Active in European Association of Archaeologists and University of Aberdeen collaborations, with fieldwork experience across Sweden. Current projects involve analyzing croft organization and medieval building techniques at Glimmingehus.
