Sara L. Spurgeon

Sara L. Spurgeon is a Professor in the Department of English at Texas Tech University, specializing in American Literature, with a focus on literatures of the American West and Southwest, nature/environmental writing, gender studies, speculative fiction, and critical indigenous/colonial theory. She co-founded the Literature, Social Justice, and Environment Program (LSJE), offering graduate concentrations and undergraduate minors.
