Sara Fasana

Sara Fasana is an Associate Professor of Technical Architecture at the Department of Structural, Building and Geotechnical Engineering (DISEG), Polytechnic University of Turin. She is actively involved in teaching, research, and leadership roles within national and international projects focused on built heritage conservation and sustainable design.

Her research interests include the conservation of 20th-century architecture, sustainable design, maintenance of built heritage, and the development of integrated digital tools for cultural heritage valorization. She emphasizes experimentally supported methods for the restoration of architecturally significant buildings, including UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Her recent publications reflect a strong focus on planned conservation, risk assessment in urban heritage, and technological innovation through platforms like 4Main10Ance. These works span disciplines such as civil engineering, architecture, digital heritage, and environmental sustainability.
