Sara C. Wrenn, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of Psychology at Bennett College, located within the Division of Arts and Sciences. She joined Bennett in 2008 and currently serves as Dean of Faculty since 2022. Her academic background includes an A.B. in Psychology from Duke University and M.S./Ph.D. in Social Psychology from North Carolina State University.

- Research: Focuses on juror decision-making, child social competence, cognitive processes, and atypical academic performance. Engaged in HIV prevalence research and occupational analysis for the Department of Labor.
- Administrative Roles: Chair of Curriculum Committee (2010–2016), President of Faculty Senate (2017–2019), and currently Dean of Faculty.
Dr. Wrenn has taught at NC State, Meredith College, and Duke’s Talent Identification Program. She contributed to the Saudi Research Science Initiative in 2015–2016, supporting STEM education for high school girls in Saudi Arabia. Her work bridges academic research, pedagogy, and institutional leadership.
