Sara Bagur Pons

Sara Bagur Pons is an Assistant Professor and PhD holder at the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB), affiliated with the Department of Applied Pedagogy and Educational Psychology. She currently serves as Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Education. Her academic journey includes a PhD in Education (2022, cum laude with International Mention), a Master's in Early Childhood (2020), and a Primary Education degree (2019). She holds a Postdoctoral Orientation Period (POP) contract and a University Teacher Training (FPU) contract from the Ministry of Universities.

Her research focuses on Early Childhood Intervention, Inclusive Education, and Family-Centered Practices. Key areas include analyzing educational policies, family empowerment, and mental health impacts in early childhood services. She has published in journals like International Journal of Developmental Disabilities and Frontiers in Psychology.

Bagur has received multiple awards for academic excellence, including the Extraordinary Prize for her Master’s and Doctorate. She leads projects on early intervention models and collaborates internationally, including with the University of Cuenca (Ecuador). Her teaching spans courses in Inclusive Education, Research Methodologies, and Developmental Psychology.

Professional highlights include membership in the GREID research group and roles in the Institute for Educational Research and Innovation (IRIE). She emphasizes bridging research and practice to enhance educational quality and social inclusion.
