Dr. Saqib Shamim is a Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) in Social Innovation and Strategy at Queen Mary University of London's School of Business and Management, where he also serves as Programme Director for the MSc Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Previously, he held positions at the University of Kent, including Lecturer in Innovation and Entrepreneurship and Director of the International Business BSc.
His research focuses on innovation management, digital transformations, dynamic capabilities, and strategic alignment. He has published in journals such as the British Journal of Management, International Business Review, and Technological Forecasting and Social Change. His work explores themes like crisis-driven business model innovation, technostress mitigation, and the role of big data in organizational resilience.
Dr. Shamim holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education (PGCHE) and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. He teaches courses on Strategic Management and Social and Sustainable Innovation, emphasizing practical applications of theoretical frameworks.
His recent publications address challenges in supply chain resilience, AI-driven trust development, and digital transformation in conflict-affected regions. He collaborates with industry partners to bridge research and practice, particularly in leveraging big data for sustainable business strategies.
