Saodat Ismailova

Saadat Ismailova is a SAVA Creative Fellow at the University College London (UCL) Institute of Advanced Studies (IAS) from October 2024 to September 2025. A filmmaker and artist from Uzbekistan, she graduated from the Tashkent State Art Institute and Le Fresnoy, National Studio of Contemporary Arts. Her work explores Central Asian culture through myths, rituality, and memory, focusing on post-Soviet history and ancestral knowledge.
