Santosh Saraf is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Illinois Chicago, affiliated with the Department of Medicine's Division of Hematology and Oncology. His research focuses on the genetic and molecular mechanisms underlying sickle cell nephropathy and the application of stem cell transplantation for treating sickle cell disease.
