معرفی
Santiago Peris Rodriguez is an academic affiliated with the Department of Physics at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB)/Institute of High Energy Physics (IFAE). He holds a Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics from UAB (1989) and prior degrees in Physical Sciences. His academic career includes roles such as CERN Fellow (1993–1995), Postdoctoral Researcher at Ohio State University (1991–1992), and Fulbright Postdoctoral Fellow at UCLA (1989–1991). He began his academic appointment as Profesor Ayudante (Assistant Professor) at UAB in 1984.
- Education:
- Ph.D., Theoretical Physics, UAB (1989)
- Degree in Physical Sciences, UAB (1985)
- Research Focus: Quantum Chromodynamics, Hadronic Decays, Muon Physics, and Perturbation Theory. His work explores topics like quark-hadron duality violations, chiral extrapolation in muon magnetic moment calculations, and low-energy constants in effective field theories.
- Projects: Led multiple national and EU-funded projects, including 'FLAVIANET' (2006–2010) and initiatives on electroweak scale physics and particle phenomenology.
