معرفی
Jan Olav Eeg is a Norwegian theoretical physicist affiliated with the University of Oslo, where he holds a position in the Department of Physics under the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences. With a doctorate in physics (Dr.Philos, 1976), he has spent decades researching electroweak decay processes and phenomena beyond the Standard Model, particularly focusing on CP violation and exotic decay mechanisms in particle physics.
- Education: Cand.real (M.Sc, 1971), Dr.Philos (1976)
- Collaborations: Svjetlana Fajfer (Ljubljana), Ivica Picek and Kresimir Kumericki (Zagreb)
His research spans neutron electric dipole moments, chiral quark models, and B meson decays, with significant contributions to understanding non-factorizable effects in weak decays. His 15 most recent publications (2007-2020) reveal a focus on CP violation, flavor physics, and chiral perturbation theory. He has taught advanced courses in relativistic quantum field theory and elementary particle physics.
