Sanni Pöysä

Sanni Pöysä is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Faculty of Education and Psychology, University of Jyväskylä. Her research focuses on teacher well-being, student engagement, and teacher-student interaction dynamics, with particular emphasis on pandemic impacts. She holds a PhD in Education (2020) and a Master of Education (classroom and special education).

Education background includes a Doctorate in Education (2020) and Master of Education with teaching qualifications. Her work is affiliated with the EDUCA Flagship and EduRESCUE projects, which address educational resilience and crisis response.

Research interests span teacher resilience, pandemic effects on education systems, and student well-being. Her studies explore how classroom interactions influence both teacher and student well-being, with recent work analyzing pandemic-related stress and resilience strategies.

Key projects include EDUCA (Education for the Future Flagship), which prepares education systems for future challenges, and the EduRESCUE project, focusing on crisis resilience. She is part of the TESSI research group studying classroom stress and interaction.
